The RHLI 150th ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATIVE BAYONET
The RHLI is pleased to announce the introduction of our 150th Anniversary Commemorative Bayonet. A reproduction of the standard Canadian C7 rifle bayonet, it will sit proudly on your desk at work or in the den and mark your connection to one of Canada's oldest military units.
The blade is made of blackened mild steel, with a full-tang handle. It is deeply engraved with "THE ROYAL HAMILTON LIGHT INFANTRY 1862-2012" on two lines to boldly mark our 150th Anniversary. The handle is moulded black high-density plastic with a raised diamond-pattern grip, wrapped tightly to the tang. It is inset with a gleaming chrome-plated badge marked with "XIII" - to honour the RHLI's origins as the XIII Battalion - and the Queen's Crown, marking this as a truly Canadian military memento.
The Commemorative Bayonet comes complete with an unassembled stained light wooden stand to allow your bayonet to sit above your desk in easy view of yourself or visitors. It says unequivocally "This is my Regiment", or "I am proud to be associated to the RHLI!"
